For those of us who attended the Route 91 concert in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017, that is a date we will never forget. Route 91 was a 3-day country music festival, and that year, the headliners were Eric Church, Sam Hunt, and Jason Aldean. It’s a festival my husband and I had attended for three consecutive years before this tragic event.
On Sunday, October 1, 2017, at approximately 10:05 p.m., shots were fired for about 10 minutes into a crowd of 22,000 people, killing 58 and injuring hundreds more. Tragically, for those of us who survived, we lived through the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
It is important to us and our "Country Strong" community that we honor and cherish the 58 victims who were taken too soon that night. For any "Route 91" item purchased, we will donate $1 to the "Route 91 Nation Nonprofit - Scholarships for Kids." We thank you for helping to keep their memory alive and for remembering that

Memorial Bench Honors Route 91
Victims and Unites Community
The Route 91 Memorial Bench at Roadrunner Park stands as a symbol of unity, resilience, and remembrance. Spearheaded by Nicole and Tony Moisio, survivors of the tragic 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting in Las Vegas, the bench project brought together the Canyon Lake community, many of whom generously donated to make this memorial a reality. The bench and surrounding rock garden offer a peaceful space where survivors and visitors can reflect, heal, and honor the 58 lives lost that night.
What began as a desire to honor those who were tragically taken has blossomed into a story of hope and friendship. In the process of raising funds, survivors connected with one another, creating bonds and shared experiences. The bench stands not only as a remembrance but also as a testament to the good that emerged from that fateful night. The community’s efforts ensure that the victims and their families will never be forgotten.
